Improvement of Basic Infrastructure, Street Lights, Drains, Culverts, and Pavements in Urban Areas of Peshawar

The Local Government and Rural Development Department Peshawar is procuring works for the improvement of basic infrastructure in various urban areas of Peshawar including Regi, Sufaid Dheri, Malakander, University Town, and Hayatabad. The scope covers street lights, drains, culverts, street pavements, and drinking water supply schemes (DWSS). This tender is aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure to improve living conditions and public utilities in these localities. The technical scope includes the construction and rehabilitation of street pavements, installation and maintenance of street lighting, drainage and culvert works, and water supply system improvements. The projects are spread across multiple urban sectors of Peshawar, requiring contractors to have experience in civil works, electrical installations, and water supply infrastructure. The estimated costs for individual works range from approximately Rs. 69.5 million to Rs. 72 million, with bid securities around Rs. 1.39 to 1.44 million. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with the C&W Department as per the centralized enlistment policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current financial year. Firms should also be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and have relevant experience in similar urban infrastructure projects. Submission of Technical and Financial Bids is mandatory through the EPADS online system. The last date for submission of electronic tenders is 8th June 2026 at 12:30 PM. Financial bids will be opened only after the technical evaluation. Bidders should ensure their proposals are properly numbered and include a table of contents. Earnest Money in the form of call deposit must be submitted in favor of the Assistant Director, LG & RDD Peshawar.
