Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Highways Division Hyderabad is procuring the Improvement of Drainage System in UC-100,132 TMC Sachal Sarmast and Shah Latifabad, Taluka Latifabad District Hyderabad. This project involves comprehensive civil works focused on drainage system enhancement to improve water flow and reduce flooding risks in the specified urban localities of Hyderabad. The scope includes construction and rehabilitation of drainage channels, installation of necessary infrastructure, and related civil works to ensure effective water management over a 24-month period.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category with valid renewal up to June 2026. Firms should have completed at least three similar works of 80% value in the last five years, supported by completion certificates and SPPRA bid evaluation reports. Financial strength is critical, requiring audited reports from ICAP-registered firms for the last three years and a minimum annual turnover twice the estimated cost. Bidders must also provide a list of machinery, bank creditworthiness certificates, and valid registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board with active status. Technical staff CVs and affidavits on judicial stamp paper confirming authenticity of documents are mandatory.
The tender documents can be downloaded from http://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/ upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000. Earnest Money in the form of a call deposit amounting to 5% of the bid price is required. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA e-Procurement system by 09:00 AM on 4th May 2026. The technical bids will be opened at 10:00 AM the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer, Highways Division Hyderabad, SRTC Colony opposite State Life Building Hyderabad.
