Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Karachi for the improvement and rehabilitation of the surrounding area of Jamia Masjid New Town, TMC Jinnah, District East. Issued by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Engineering Department, this project primarily involves road works, sewerage system upgrades, median and footpath construction, and ancillary works including pavement marking and road studs installation. The scope covers dismantling existing asphalt and concrete roads, earth excavation, sub-base preparation, laying aggregate base course, asphalt concrete wearing course, and sewerage pipeline repairs with manhole construction. Bids will be opened online at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Office of the Chairman Procurement Committee, Engineering Department, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Muslimabad, Karachi. Physical submissions are not accepted. The contract includes a 6-month completion period with liquidated damages of Rs. 3000 per day for delays.
