Tender Description
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites eligible contractors to participate in tenders for the improvement and rehabilitation of various streets in Karachi. This procurement notice covers multiple schemes focused on enhancing road infrastructure in different districts of Karachi, including East Karachi, Central Karachi, and Keamari. The projects involve the rehabilitation of surrounding streets, internal streets, and roads connecting key localities.

These works require valid PEC licenses in categories C-5 or C-6 with specialization codes CE01, CE09, and CE10. The scope includes street and road rehabilitation using approved materials and construction methods to improve traffic flow and safety. The projects are funded by KMC's own funds.
Eligibility criteria include valid CNIC, PEC and category relevant specialization codes, NTN and SRB registration certificates, affidavit regarding non-blacklisting, and audit reports from ICAP registered firms. Bidders must provide a construction schedule in bar chart form, demonstrate relevant experience with at least one similar work costing 80% of the estimated cost or two works costing 50%, and submit a list of machinery and equipment ownership or lease documentation.
Bids must be submitted online via the SPPRAs e-Procurement System EPADS by 14-09-2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Manual submissions are not accepted. Tender cost is Rs. 5,000 and bid security is 5% of the estimated cost. Integrity pact and earnest money in the form of Pay Order/CDR are mandatory.
