Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the improvement of a 1.58 km stretch of road from Sujawal-Badin Road Mile 8/7 to Village Kamal Jat Road Mile 0/0-0/6+538' in Sujawal, Sindh under the Works & Services Department. The project falls under the Road & Infrastructure Works & Materials category and is managed by the Executive Engineer, Highway Division Sujawal.
The scope includes making diagonal grooves on the road surface, laying brick edging, preparing a stone metal base course, surface dressing with bitumen and crushed bajri, laying a 1.5 inch thick carpet with a paver machine, and earthwork for road embankment. The work requires careful handling of materials such as first-class bricks, stone metal, bitumen, bajri, and hill sand, ensuring proper compaction and finishing to meet the technical specifications. The site is located in Sujawal, and the project duration is 180 days from the commencement date.
Bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) if the work exceeds Rs. 2.5 million and should be pre-qualified with the Procuring Agency if applicable. The contract includes provisions for mobilization advance, secured advance on materials, and retention money.
