Tender Document
Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the indigenous development of a Dynamic Integrated Training Simulator for Tk AK-1 in Rawalpindi by the Directorate General Research and Development Establishment (DGRDE). The project focuses on leveraging local resources and manufacturing capabilities to develop advanced simulation technology, emphasizing in-country production with minimal import reliance.
The scope involves detailed design, development, and integration of simulator components, requiring firms with strong technical expertise and in-house manufacturing capacity. The work demands precision engineering and adherence to strict technical specifications outlined in the tender documents. The site location in Rawalpindi offers logistical advantages for coordination and delivery, but bidders must be prepared to meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC registration and maintain active tax status on the FBR ATL list for the financial year 2025-26. It is essential to provide a detailed cost breakdown including OEM registration numbers and demonstrate a satisfactory record of similar national or armed forces projects. Firms must also submit earnest money as per the prescribed rates and attach all mandatory registration and tax documents to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline for the first stage technical bids is set for 10:30 AM on 18 February 2026, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Bids must be submitted physically at the Directorate General Research and Development Establishment, Abid Majeed Road, Rawalpindi. The second stage financial bid submission will be communicated separately to technically qualified bidders.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bid security requirements and ensure the earnest money is submitted in the correct form and amount. Missing or insufficient bid security is a common cause for rejection. Also, attend the tender conference scheduled for 9 February 2026 to clarify any technical or procedural queries.
