This role is critical for ensuring seamless management, efficient operational coordination, and timely execution of border procedures at Pakistan's international land borders. The consultant will act as a central liaison bridging communication between government agencies, trade unions, security forces, and provincial administrations to streamline commercial cargo, transit trade, and pedestrian movement. Items being procured: - Coordination services for daily inter-agency activities involving Pakistan Customs, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Frontier Corps (FC), Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), and National Logistics Corporation (NLC) - Liaison with Chamber of Commerce, local traders, and transport associations on both Pakistani and Iranian sides - Coordination of cross-border operational meetings with Iranian border counterparts - Oversight of border infrastructure including scanning bays, terminal gates, weighing bridges, and warehouse facilities - Monitoring immigration and customs clearance queues to prevent traffic gridlocks - Supervision of ongoing border upgradation, digitization, and expansion projects - Maintenance of daily logs on trade volumes, vehicle influx, pedestrian movement, and revenue trends - Immediate reporting of security or environmental safety hazards The consultant will deliver inception, daily operational, monthly progress, quarterly SOP evaluation, and final assignment reports over a six-month contract period. The assignment requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Arts, Public Administration, or related fields, with at least 15 years of relevant experience in coordination, monitoring, and border management preferably within public sector or armed forces. The consultant must be a Pakistani citizen, not currently serving in government without NOC, and free from blacklisting.
