Tender Description
The Emergency Services Department Punjab invites e-Bids from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and their Authorized Engineering firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the Tax Departments in Pakistan for procurement of specialized vehicles and equipment in Lahore.
Items being procured:
- Installation of 8-ton cranes on trucks for multipurpose use (Qty: 2)
- Conversion of trucks to recovery vehicles for multipurpose use (Qty: 8)
The scope includes installation and conversion works on trucks to enhance their operational capabilities for emergency services. The bidding process will be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System portal approved by the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Bidders must be registered with the e-Procurement System and submit their bids electronically using the PDF upload method. Bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated procurement value must be submitted electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System. No physical financial instruments will be accepted.
Complete bids along with required documents must be submitted electronically by 31-10-2026 up to 11:00 am, with bid opening at 11:30 am on the same day. Tender documents are available on the PPRA and Emergency Services Department websites.
Eligibility requires registration with PEC and tax authorities, and compliance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Earnest money in the form of electronic bid security is mandatory.
Bidders are advised to carefully follow the e-Procurement portal instructions and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. Early registration and document preparation are recommended to handle any technical issues on the portal.
