Tender Description
The Office of the Programme Manager at the Regional Blood Center (RBC) Gilgit is procuring and installing a Solar System under the development scheme for the financial year 2026-27. This tender invites sealed bids from well-reputed firms with sufficient experience and valid government registration. The procurement is specific to the installation of a solar power system at RBC Gilgit, aimed at enhancing energy sustainability and operational efficiency.

The technical scope includes the complete installation of the solar system at the RBC Gilgit premises. Bidders must provide detailed color brochures and complete specifications of the quoted equipment. An authority letter from manufacturers or authorized distributors is mandatory. The warranty period for the installed system must be at least three years, inclusive of all relevant taxes. The bid security requires a 3% Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from any scheduled bank, including KCBL GB, in the name of the Manager Regional Blood Center (RBC) Gilgit.
Eligibility criteria include registration with the relevant government authorities, proven experience in solar system installation, and compliance with GB-PPRA Rules 2022 Clause 39 (b) for national competitive bidding. The bids will remain valid until 30th June 2027. The procuring agency reserves the right to increase, decrease, or delete quantities and to accept or reject any or all tenders with reasons.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Manager Regional Blood Center Gilgit upon written request and payment of Rs. 6000/- (non-refundable) on any working day before closing hours. The submission deadline is **6th August 2026 at 1:00 pm**, with bid opening at 1:30 pm on the same day at the RBC office in Gilgit. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 29th July 2026 but is not mandatory.
