Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Buildings Division Water and Services Matiari is procuring the installation of a solar system at Government Girls College Hala New, located in Matiari, Sindh. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the energy infrastructure of the college by installing a reliable solar power system to support its operations and reduce dependency on conventional power sources.
The technical scope includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar system at the specified site. The works involve civil, electrical, and mechanical components necessary for a complete and functional solar power setup. Bidders are expected to provide detailed technical data, drawings, and specifications as part of their submissions. The project is designed as a small contract with an estimated cost between Rs. 2.5 million and Rs. 50 million, following the Standard Form of Bidding Documents for Works.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category, possess valid FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate relevant experience in similar solar installation projects. The bid security is set at 5% of the bid price. Bidders should prepare a comprehensive technical and financial bid including all required schedules and forms.
The deadline for submission of bids is 10:30 AM on 1st June 2026, with bid opening scheduled at 11:00 AM on 16th June 2026 at the office of the Executive Engineer Buildings Division W&S at the Deputy Commissioner Office Matiari. Bids must be submitted in person or by registered mail to the specified address. It is advisable for bidders to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure compliance with all instructions, including timely submission of bid security and required documentation.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the technical bid is complete and responsive, as partial bids will be rejected. Also, early preparation and site visits, if possible, will help in understanding the project requirements better and preparing a competitive bid. Attention to detail in the bid security and adherence to submission deadlines will avoid disqualification.
