Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Ltd is procuring insulation re-work services for various compartments and spaces onboard MILGEM-3 due to modifications in several systems. This work is based in Karachi and involves detailed technical tasks including fixing of insulation pins, installation of insulation material such as washers, cap washers, aluminum foil tape, and fabric or cloth with tape over an approximate area of 5,000 square meters each. The scope includes re-fixing insulation pins using stud welding machines, cutting insulation material, and ensuring safe custody of materials. The work must be coordinated with the Manager (Deck & Hold) and Quality Control Department to ensure compliance with drawings, instructions, and safety regulations.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and have relevant experience in similar works. Firms must also be registered with FBR and SRB and provide a list of trained workforce and past performance details.
