Tender Description
NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi is procuring internal painting works for rooms and corridors on the Ground, First, and Second Floors of MBQ-I Boys Hostel. This tender is specifically for contractors experienced in civil works and building maintenance within Karachi, Sindh.
The scope includes comprehensive internal painting using quality materials as per the Bill of Quantities and technical specifications provided by the Procurement Cell. The work involves surface preparation, application of paints on walls, ceilings, and corridors, ensuring durability and aesthetic finish. The contract duration is two months with an additional six months maintenance period. Liquidated damages apply for delays beyond the completion date.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR, Sindh Revenue Board, and Pakistan Engineering Council where applicable. They should have at least three years of relevant experience and an average annual turnover of not less than PKR 6 million over the last three financial years. Bidders must not be blacklisted and must provide all mandatory documents including bid security, NTN, GST, SRB, PEC certificates, and affidavits on non-blacklisting and litigation status.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS only; manual submissions will be rejected. The original bid security pay order must reach the Deputy Director Procurement office before the bid opening date. The submission deadline and bid opening date will be as notified in the official NIT. Interested bidders are advised to visit the site before submission and ensure all bidding documents are signed, stamped, and complete.
