Tender Description
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Islamabad invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply, installation, testing, calibration, and training of laboratory equipment for its science labs under the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to enhance the university's laboratory facilities to support academic and research activities.
Items being procured:
- Laboratory Equipment for Science Labs including supply, installation, testing, calibration, and training services.
The scope includes delivery of high-quality laboratory instruments, their proper installation and testing at the university premises, calibration to ensure accuracy, and comprehensive training for university staff on equipment usage and maintenance. Bidders must ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards as detailed in the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the EPADS V2.0 platform and comply with all requirements including submission of bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, Demand Draft, or a bid securing declaration as specified. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2026.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS V2.0 by 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2026. Late or manual submissions will not be accepted. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM via the EPADS platform. Interested bidders are advised to register on EPADS V2.0 and review the bidding documents available online.
