Pre-Qualification of General Contractor for Conservation, Rehabilitation, Improvement and Upgradation of Lahore Museum (Phase-1)

The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) is inviting prequalification proposals from eligible general contractors for the Master Plan for Conservation, Rehabilitation, Improvement and Upgradation of Lahore Museum (Phase-1). This opportunity is open to firms registered with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and possessing the required PEC category. Items being procured: - Construction of buildings and infrastructure development for Lahore Museum (Phase-1) - Civil works - Architectural works - Plumbing works - Electrical works - Mechanical works - Fire fighting works - External development works - Deployment of all necessary material, labor, formwork, tools, and machinery The technical scope covers a comprehensive range of activities including structural and architectural upgrades, installation of modern plumbing and electrical systems, mechanical and fire safety enhancements, and significant external development. Contractors must ensure the provision of all required materials and skilled labor for the successful execution of the project. The estimated cost for this phase is bold PKR 1.437 Million. Only firms with PEC Category C-1 or above are eligible to participate. All interested applicants must register on the Punjab e-Procurement System to be eligible. The PQ document and detailed requirements are available online. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System by bold 25 August 2026, no later than 03:00 PM. Proposals will be opened the same day at 03:30 PM. Submissions through any other mode will not be considered. A practical tip: Ensure your firm's PEC registration is up to date and that you have experience in similar museum or heritage building projects, as this will strengthen your prequalification application.
