Tender Description
The District Headquarters Hospital Matiari is inviting bids for the procurement of life saving medical supplies specifically medical gases and allied items for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Medical Superintendent office located in Matiari, Sindh. The tender requires eligible bidders registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) where applicable. The procurement method is Single Stage – Two Envelope procedure as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010.

The technical scope includes supply and refilling of medical oxygen and nitrous oxide gases with strict adherence to purity standards of 99.5% minimum and safety certifications from the Department of Explosives. New cylinders must be hydro-tested and color-coded as per international standards. The supplier must maintain a buffer stock of at least 150+ MM cylinders to ensure uninterrupted supply during emergencies. Compliance with DRAP, Drugs Act 1976, and Sindh Public Procurement Rules is mandatory.
Eligible bidders must be registered with DRAP and the Explosives Department for gas storage and transport. They must also be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) and possess valid licenses including Drug Sale License and Medical Gas manufacturing/supply registration. The bid security is 2.5% of the total bid value and the tender fee is Rs. 3,000 non-refundable. Performance security of 5% of contract value is required.
The bid submission deadline is 21-08-2026 at 2:30 PM with technical bid opening at 3:00 PM the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Medical Superintendent office at DHQ Hospital Matiari. Late bids will be rejected. Technical bids will be evaluated first and only qualified bidders' financial bids will be opened later.
