Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Peshawar to undertake a lump sum contract for military engineering works under the Military Engineer Services. The project involves executing comprehensive construction tasks as per detailed specifications and drawings provided by MES, focusing on building, roads, electrification, water supply, and gas installations within the city.
The scope covers all civil works required at the designated site in Peshawar, including the use of approved materials and adherence to MES Schedule of Rates 2021 amended to date. Contractors must be prepared to manage engineering challenges typical of military infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security protocols and quality standards throughout the project duration.
Bidders should ensure they meet the PEC category requirements relevant to construction works and maintain an active FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare all necessary documentation including Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per MES guidelines to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 16th April 2026, with tenders to be delivered by 11:50 AM to the office of CMES (A) Peshawar. The technical bids will be opened at 12:00 PM on the same day. All correspondence and submissions must be clearly marked and addressed to the CMES (A) office.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and security clearance requirements, which are often overlooked but critical for contract acceptance. Ensure all documents are complete and returned even if the tender is not submitted to maintain good standing with MES.
