Tender Description
The Buildings Division Lodhran under the Communications & Works Department is inviting bids for the maintenance and repair of various Judicial Complexes and offices in Lodhran city. This tender covers multiple projects including repair works at Judicial Complex Lodhran, Judicial Colony, Session Judge Camp Office, Excise & Taxation Office, Deputy Director Colleges Office, and residences of Assistant Director Colleges among others. The scope involves civil works such as structural repairs, painting, and general building maintenance to ensure the functionality and safety of these government facilities.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Class C-6 or above, reflecting their capability to undertake civil works of this scale. Additionally, firms should be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in similar government maintenance projects will be advantageous. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 2% of the estimated cost is mandatory and must be submitted before the bid opening.
The tender process is conducted through the E-Tendering system, and all bids must be submitted online. The deadline for submission is 22nd July 2026 at 11:00 AM, after which bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The contract duration for each project is six months. The tender documents and detailed terms are available on the official PPRA Punjab website.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the original CDR is submitted to the Tender Opening Committee before the bid opening time to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully quote rates item-wise as per the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to avoid rejection. Timely registration on the E-Tendering portal and thorough compliance with all submission requirements will enhance the chances of success in this competitive tender.
