Tender Description

The Executive Engineer Highway Division Works & Services Department Thatta is procuring maintenance and repair works for the road from Asghar Ali Shah Road Mile 0/4 to Village Usman Gabaar Road Mile 0/0-0/5, covering a length of 1.00 KM in Thatta, Sindh. This project involves earthwork for road embankment, laying brick edging, preparing base course with stone metal, surface dressing with bitumen and crushed bajri, and providing a 1-inch thick premixed carpet with proper camber and grade. The scope includes supply of materials such as first-class bricks, stone metal, bitumen of 80/100 penetration, bajri, and hill sand, along with all necessary tools, plant, and labour to complete the works as per departmental specifications and drawings. Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category for works exceeding Rs. 2.5 million and should be pre-qualified with the Procuring Agency if applicable. Bidders should have relevant experience, financial capacity, and technical staff to undertake the project. The bid security is set at 5% of the bid cost amounting to Rs. 706,450. The contract duration is 90 days from the commencement date. The tender documents can be obtained from the Executive Engineer Highway Division Thatta office. Bids must be submitted by 10:00 A.M on 18.05.2026 and will be opened at 11:00 A.M the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives.
