The Comsats University Islamabad (Sahiwal Campus) is procuring major overhauling services for a Siemens 250 KVA Genset, Model No Qsl9G5, located at its Sahiwal campus in Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and follows the Public Procurement Rules, 2004, using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique under a National Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure. Items being procured: - Major Overhauling of Siemens 250 KVA Genset including Head valve, Valve seat, Valve guide, Piston ring, Main & Big end bearing, Fan Belts, PM with parts, Injector calibration, Top and bottom kit, Turbo kit, Coolant Radiator hose pipe, Coupling rubber, Gasket - Services including Cranck polish, Pump calibration (service), Self service, Dynamo service, Head machine work with pressure test, Wiring dressing, ATS dressing, Relays, Leath Work, Labour Charges, Transportation Charges The scope covers comprehensive mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance of the genset, ensuring all parts are genuine and OEM standard. The work includes detailed servicing such as crank polishing, pump calibration, and pressure testing, along with electrical wiring and relay dressing. The site is at Comsats University Islamabad, Comsats Road, off G.T Road, Sahiwal. Eligible bidders must demonstrate technical competence, financial soundness, and experience in similar generator repair and maintenance projects. They must provide documentary evidence including work orders, completion certificates, and financial statements. The vendor must also provide a warranty of at least 12 months for repair work and replaced parts. The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM via the EPADS v2.0 system.
