Tender Description
This procurement notice is issued by the Directorate General Fisheries Sindh, Marine and Coastal Fisheries Development, Karachi, for the supply of marine graded ice boxes as part of the development scheme ADP No. 1305 for the financial year 2026-2027. The notice clarifies the correct details of the items required, superseding any previous publication errors. Bidders are invited to supply the following items:
- Marine Graded Ice Box (120 liter capacity): 140 units
- Marine Graded Ice Box (200 liter capacity): 100 units
These ice boxes are intended for use in fisheries operations and must meet the specified capacity and durability standards suitable for marine environments. The technical scope includes the provision of robust, insulated ice boxes capable of maintaining low temperatures for extended periods, essential for preserving fish and seafood during transport and storage. All other terms and conditions of the original NIT remain unchanged.
Eligible suppliers must ensure compliance with the technical specifications and provide evidence of relevant experience in supplying similar equipment. Registration with tax authorities and submission of Earnest Money as per the original tender terms are mandatory. Bids must be submitted by the deadline of 22 October 2026 at the designated office in Karachi. For best results, bidders should verify the quality and insulation properties of the offered ice boxes to meet the department's operational needs and avoid disqualification due to non-compliance with technical requirements.
