Procurement of Meter Security Box A-Type for CT Ratio 200/5 AMP

The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified suppliers for the procurement of Meter Security Box A-Type for CT Ratio 200/5 AMP under Tender No. 1984/26. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The procurement follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Items being procured: - Meter Security Box A-Type for CT Ratio 200/5 AMP, Quantity: 1200 Nos The items must comply with WAPDA/PPMC/NTDC standard Specification No. DDS-58:2007 (amended to date). Delivery location is Regional Store HESCO, Hyderabad/Jamshoro & Nawabshah. The delivery period and warranty are specified in the bidding documents. Bidders must be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayers List, and pre-qualified with HESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA in the relevant category. Valid prototype approval from Chief (Technical Services) PPMC Islamabad is required or an undertaking to provide it within the delivery schedule. Bidders must submit bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft and comply with all bidding document requirements. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, September 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 11:30 AM through EPADS v2.0. The bid security original must be submitted physically to Room # 237, WAPDA Offices Complex, HESCO H/Qs, Hussainabad, Hyderabad before the closing time. The procurement includes strict inspection and quality control measures, including pre-shipment inspection by nominated agencies and joint inspection at manufacturer premises. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed. The contract includes a warranty period of 12 months from the date of supply completion, with provisions for replacement or repair of defective goods at supplier's cost.
