Tender Description
The Transport Department of Balochistan is procuring services for the operation and maintenance, independent auditing, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) for the Green and Pink Buses Project covering the cities of Quetta and Turbat. This tender involves multiple service components including the technical operation and upkeep of the bus fleet, independent auditing to ensure compliance and transparency, and the deployment of ITS technologies to enhance transportation management and passenger experience.
The scope includes maintaining the buses in optimal condition, conducting thorough audits by an independent auditor, and implementing intelligent systems such as GPS tracking, passenger information systems, and automated fare collection. The project aims to improve public transport efficiency and safety in these key urban centers of Balochistan.
Eligible bidders should have relevant experience in transportation services, auditing, and ITS implementation. Registration with FBR and a valid ATL status are mandatory. Firms with proven track records in similar projects will be preferred. The tender submission deadline has been extended to 4th May 2026, with all terms and conditions remaining unchanged from the original notice.
Interested bidders should prepare their technical and financial bids carefully, ensuring compliance with all requirements including Earnest Money and CDR submission. The bids must be submitted to the Transport Department office before the deadline. A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly review the technical specifications and audit requirements to avoid disqualification on technical grounds, as these are critical evaluation criteria.
