Operation, Management, Maintenance and Ancillary Services of Sindhi Muslim Food Street

Town Municipal Corporation Chanesar invites experienced private-sector Operating Partners for the operation, management, maintenance, and ancillary services of the Sindhi Muslim Food Street in Karachi. This initiative aims to maintain the area's vibrant and attractive public character while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and upkeep. Items being procured: - Parking and valet management - Deployment of vigilance staff - Deployment of private security guards - Cleaning and sweeping of the Food Street - Maintenance and protection of existing infrastructure and municipal assets - Day-to-day operational management and supervision - Maintenance of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance - Provision of required manpower, equipment, cleaning materials, and other resources - Payment and responsibility of all operational utility charges including electricity, water connection/tankers, sanitation, and waste disposal during the contract period The contract duration is three years, extendable based on satisfactory performance and mutual consent. The Operating Partner will bear all operational, repair, maintenance, and utility expenses without any financial liability on TMC Chanesar. Advertising and branding rights within designated areas of the Food Street may be granted to the successful bidder. Eligibility criteria include legal registration with SECP or Registrar of Firms, valid NTN and SRB registration, at least one year of proven experience in managing similar food or entertainment destinations, and submission of documentary evidence of relevant experience. Bidders must not be blacklisted or debarred by any government or public-sector organization and must submit an undertaking to undertake the full scope of services at their own cost. Bid Security of Rs. 100,000/- in the form of Pay Order or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of Town Municipal Corporation Chanesar is required with the proposal. The detailed RFP document is available from the office of the Town Municipal Commissioner upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000/- via Pay Order. Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Town Municipal Commissioner, Town Municipal Corporation Chanesar, District East, Karachi by 5th October 2026 at 10:30 AM. Opening will be held the same day at 11:00 AM in Council Hall, TMC Chanesar District East. Late proposals will not be entertained.
