Tender Description
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is procuring an Optimization of Backup Infrastructure specifically for its Head Office located in Islamabad. This procurement is part of the financial year 25-26 plan and aims to enhance the backup capabilities at the Primary Site with a focus on Continuous Data Protection (CDP), immutability, and high-performance data storage solutions.
The technical scope includes deployment of an enterprise-grade backup appliance with CDP and immutable storage capabilities, offering a usable capacity of 300 TB. Two solution options are provided: Solution 1 involves a CDP-enabled backup appliance with high-performance storage, while Solution 2 offers an all-flash or hybrid storage solution to replace aging disks. The project includes installation, configuration, and hands-on training for SECP resources.
Eligible bidders must be authorized service providers or principal's authorized dealers/distributors/partners/resellers based in Pakistan, registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience, valid manufacturer authorization, and compliance with technical specifications outlined in the tender documents.
Key dates include the bid submission deadline on **May 07, 2026 at 14:30 Hrs**, with bid opening at 15:00 Hrs the same day at SECP's NICL Building, Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area, Islamabad.
