Outsourcing of Security Services for Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD)

The Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) in Lahore invites bids for the outsourcing of security services to safeguard its campuses and hostels across multiple cities including Lahore, Islamabad, Skardu, and Karachi. The contract is for one year initially with a probation period of three months and may be extended up to two additional years based on satisfactory performance. The scope includes deployment of security personnel with specific qualifications and experience, including Security Supervisors, Ex-Service Man Male Guards, Civilian Male Guards, and Female Guards. The required manpower includes 2 Security Supervisors, 11 Ex-Service Man Male Guards, 20 Civilian Male Guards, and 4 Female Guards primarily at the Lahore campus with possible deployment in other cities as needed. The contractor is responsible for uniforms, police verification, training records, and maintaining firearms and ammunition registers. Duty timings are two 12-hour shifts per day with strict attendance and biometric verification. Penalties apply for absenteeism and failure to meet contract terms.
