The Town Municipal Corporation Sohrab Goth, Karachi East, invites sealed bids from firms licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for the work of providing, fixing, and laying new poles with lights, brackers, and ABC bundle cable overhead from Main Chowk Saifal Goth to Shaheed Benazir Chowk Muhammadi Goth Double Road at UC-6 TMC Sohrab Goth. This tender is part of the development works under the supervision of the Superintendent Engineer, TMC Sohrab Goth. Items being procured: - Installation of 10 Amps Photo cells (National Japan) after removal of old/damaged units (2 units) - Providing and fixing MS tabular poles 31ft with specified dimensions and coatings (25 units) - Construction of RCC foundations for 31 ft/40 ft tubular poles with detailed specifications (25 units) - Manufacturing and fixing GI double arm canopy type with hydraulic crane and manual labor (25 units) - Providing and fixing LED street lights 200 watts equivalent (50 units) - Connection for new fitting fixture with 3/29 twin core on 40ft height poles (50 units) - Procurement of Aerial Bundle Cable (ABC) with messenger neutral core 4x16mm AL/PE/PE+Al alloy / XLPE+KxA electric cable (3000 ft) - Procurement of IBC cable connector pairs for 16mm ABC bundle cable (25 pairs) - Procurement of cable ties made with PVC material (10 packets) - Procurement of IBC stoppers suitable for 16mm 2 core cable (6 packets) - Procurement of step connectors 16 mm for joint work of ABC bundle cable (25 units) - Hiring of hydraulic crane for dismantling and installation work of high mast poles through private labor (20 hours) The technical scope includes installation of poles on pre-cast foundations, electrical wiring, and overhead cable laying as per instructions of the Engineer Incharge. The work site is located in UC-6, Sohrab Goth, Karachi East. Eligibility criteria require valid PEC registration in the appropriate category, NTN certificate, Sindh Revenue Board registration, electrical license where applicable, and relevant experience of at least 5 years with similar works.
