Pre-Qualification of Firms for Provision and Construction of Facilities and Repair of Furniture at Multiple Locations by Military Engineer Services

Military Engineer Services (MES) Islamabad invites applications for pre-qualification of firms and contractors for upcoming tenders related to provision, construction, and repair works across multiple locations. The scope includes the provision and construction of certain services and facilities buildings, as well as repair and replacement of furniture items at Gwadar, Turbat, Ormara, Pasni, Jewani, Khuzdar, Quetta, Sujawal, Shah Bandar, Hyderabad, Karachi, and Petaro. Items being procured: - Provision and construction of facilities buildings - Repair and replacement of furniture items Eligible firms must be on the approved list 'D' of MES contractors or other government departments with relevant experience. Contractors must furnish valid registration certificates from the Pakistan Engineering Council and bank statements. Financial standing, staff details, tools, plants, and previous work experience over the last two years must be documented and attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer. Contractors not on the approved MES list or suspended contractors must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of FDR or deposit at call pledged in the name of CMES (SFS) Petaro. This amount is refundable if the contractor is not pre-qualified or does not secure the contract. Applications must be submitted by 17 November 2026, with tenders for pre-qualified firms due by 25 November 2026 at 11:30 hours and opening at 12:00 hours on 27 November 2026.
