Pre-Qualification of Firms for Electrical and Mechanical Works by Military Engineer Services Islamabad

Military Engineer Services (MES) Islamabad invites applications along with all credentials for pre-qualification of firms and contractors for various electrical and mechanical works. The works include conversion and up-gradation of manual cranes to semi-electric cranes at Mauripur, replacement of transformers, breakers and associated accessories at Dockyard, and provision of bazar supply materials such as electrical fittings (switch socket items), PPRC pipes and fitting fixtures, electrical circuit breakers, and electric fans at Islamabad. Items being procured: - Conversion / Up-gradation of 01x Overhead 05x Ton Manual Crane and 01x 08 Ton Manual Crane into Semi Electric Crane at Mauripur - Replacement of Transformers / Breakers & Associated Accessories at Dockyard - Provision of Bazar Supply Materials Electrical Fitting (Switch Socket Items) at Islamabad - Provision of Bazar Supply Materials (PPRC Pipes & Fitting Fixture) at Islamabad - Provision of Bazar Supply Materials (Electrical Circuit Breakers) at Islamabad - Provision of Bazar Supply Materials (Electric Fans) at Islamabad Firms enlisted with MES in category 'A' & 'B' or other government departments with relevant experience may apply. Applicants must provide company profiles including details of similar works completed in the last five years, list of enrolled manpower with valid PEC numbers, details of tools, plants and machinery held, bank statements for the last two years, and NTN, FBR, PEC, and MES registration certificates. Firms not registered or renewing PEC registration by 30 June 2027 will not be considered. Applications will be scrutinized and tenders issued only to prequalified firms. Prequalified firms must deposit bid security equal to 2% of quoted bid cost in favor of DW&CE (Navy) Islamabad. Tenders must be received at HQ DW&CE (Navy) Sector E8, Naval Complex, Islamabad by 1130 hours on 25 November 2026 and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. The lowest evaluated responsive bid will be accepted. The Accepting Officer reserves the right to reject any or all applications under PPRA rules 2004. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration is valid and renewed before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
