Pre-Qualification of Firms for Provision and Construction of Services, Facilities, Buildings, Repair and Replacement of Furniture Items at Multiple Locations

The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of firms and contractors under reference REF No. 6000-PPRA/02/F-6 dated 29 Oct 2026. This pre-qualification is for the provision, construction, and repair works related to various services, facilities, buildings, and replacement of furniture items across multiple locations including Gwadar, Turbat, Ormara, Pasni, Jewarh, Khuzdar, Quetta, Sujawal, Shah Bandar, Hyderabad, Karachi, and Petaro. Items being procured: - Provision and construction of certain services - Facilities and buildings - Repair and replacement of furniture items The scope covers extensive civil and facility maintenance works, including structural repairs and furniture refurbishment or replacement at the specified sites. Eligible firms must be on the approved list 'D' of MES contractors or other government departments with relevant experience. Contractors must furnish valid registration certificates from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and provide a bank statement as proof of financial standing. Detailed information on staff employed, tools and plants, and previous experience over the last two years must be submitted using the prescribed proforma. Contractors suspended from the approved MES list due to non-deposition of enhanced standing security are required to deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of FDR or deposit at call pledged in the name of CMES (SFS) Petaro. This amount is refundable if the contractors are pre-qualified or secure the contract. Applications not providing the required information on the proforma will not be considered for issuance of tenders. The deadline for submission is 17 November 2026 by 11:30 hours, with opening scheduled at 12:00 hours on 27 November 2026.
