Tender Description
This tender invites qualified insurance surveyors to join the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) in Karachi for a pre-qualification process under an open framework agreement. The focus is on consultancy services related to insurance claim surveys across various classes including fire, marine, motor, and miscellaneous categories.
The scope involves assigning claims cases based on the nature of business, risk level, and surveyor profiles. Surveyors will be engaged on an as-needed basis, with fees structured according to loss thresholds and survey types. The work requires firms to demonstrate strong technical expertise, financial strength, and nationwide presence, ensuring reliable and professional claim assessments.
Applicants must meet mandatory criteria including valid SECP licenses, active taxpayer status, and no blacklisting on PPRA. The evaluation includes detailed scoring on licenses, financial turnover, number of licensed Authorized Surveying Officers (ASOs), experience with large losses, and affiliations. Firms must comply with PEC and FBR requirements for the 2025-26 financial year to qualify.
Submission deadline is set for the 9th of April, 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 am on the same day. Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Manager Procurement at NICL Building, Abassi Shaheed Road, Karachi. Soft copies in PDF format should also be emailed to procurement@nicl.com.pk before the deadline.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all documents, including SECP licenses and financial statements, are current and properly attested. Missing or incomplete paperwork is a common cause for disqualification. Also, double-check the application validity period and adhere strictly to the submission guidelines to avoid rejection.
