Pre-Qualification for Repair, Maintenance, Provision and Term Contracts of B&R, E&M, F&S Works at Rawalpindi

The Military Engineering Services (MES) Division at Chaklala invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms for various repair, maintenance, and provision works at different locations in Rawalpindi. The works are being procured under the light of PPRA Rule 13 (1) of 2004 with a submission deadline of Fifteen Days from the publishing date on the PPRA website. Items being procured: - Repair, Maintenance, Replacement and Renovation Works of B&R Sub Divisions at Different Locations Rawalpindi - Repair, Replacement and Maintenance Works of E&M Sub Division at Different Locations Rawalpindi - Provision of Miscellaneous Facilities (Internal/External Services, Roads, Sewerage – B&R Works) at Rawalpindi - Provision of Miscellaneous Facilities (Internal/External Services, Electrical, Water, Gas – E&M Works) at Rawalpindi - Provision of Bazar Supply Material for B&R Items - Provision of Bazar Supply Material for E&M Items - Provision of Bazar Supply Material for F&S Items - Repair, Maintenance, Replacement of Furniture Items (Furniture Works) at Rawalpindi - Term Contracts for B&R Works at Rawalpindi - Term Contracts for E&M Works at Rawalpindi The scope includes repair, replacement, and maintenance of building and roads (B&R), electrical and mechanical works (E&M), furniture and fixtures (F&S), and supply of bazar materials. Contractors must be enlisted with MES in Category 'E' or above and registered with PEC. Firms not on the MES approved list must submit a certificate proving their status along with financial standing, bank certificates, staff details, tools and plants, and previous work experience for the last two years duly attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer. Contractors not on the MES approved list or suspended must deposit 2% of the estimated cost as earnest money via FDR or Call Deposit in the name of GE (Maint) DP Chaklala. This amount is refundable if the contractor is not prequalified or does not secure the contract. Tender documents will be delivered to qualified contractors later. Tenders must be received by 1130 hrs and will be opened at 1200 hrs on prescribed dates as per the Notice of Tenders. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration category and all supporting documents are complete and attested to avoid disqualification during pre-qualification.
