Prequalification for Appointment of Chemists/Pharmacies for Supply of Medicines and Surgical Disposable Items at WAPDA Hospital Rawalpindi FY 2026-2027

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Hospital Rawalpindi invites applications for prequalification from local Chemists and Pharmacies for the subsequent Closed Framework Agreement for the supply of medicines and surgical disposable items through local purchase slips (green slips) on a daily basis for the financial year 2026-2027. This prequalification aims to select eligible suppliers who will be invited to participate in future bidding processes for the on-demand supply of medicines and disposables to entitled patients at WAPDA Hospital Rawalpindi and WAPDA Dispensary Islamabad. Items being procured: - Drugs - Medicines - Surgical Disposable Items The scope includes the supply of registered medicines and disposables with proper storage conditions maintained, including temperature, humidity, and sunlight control. The hospital pharmacy committee will inspect premises and stock to ensure compliance. Eligible applicants must hold a valid Drug Sales License issued by the respective health authority, be registered with FBR with active NTN and STN, and have at least one year of experience supplying public sector organizations. Applicants must also maintain good storage conditions and have qualified and trained staff. The annual sale turnover of the bidder should not be less than one-third of the relevant budget, and cash flow must cover at least one quarter of the local purchase budget. The prequalification documents can be obtained manually from the office of the Medical Superintendent, WAPDA Hospital Rawalpindi, during working days from 09:00 AM to 01:30 PM up to 16-08-2026 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000. Applications must be submitted manually to the Medical Superintendent's office on or before 20-08-2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The prequalification process follows PPRA Rules 2004, and any corrupt or fraudulent practices will lead to disqualification and blacklisting.
