Tender Description
The Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology, located off Noor Shah Road in Sahiwal, is inviting applications from qualified firms for the prequalification and walk-in registration of vendors. This procurement is for the local purchase of medicines and surgical disposables on a day-to-day basis (LPDD) for the financial years 2026-27 and 2027-28. Items being procured:
- Medicines
- Surgical Disposables
This tender is issued by the Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology and is specifically for vendors who can supply these medical items reliably and efficiently. The procurement process will be conducted through the online Punjab IT Board (PITB) portal, ensuring transparency and ease of access for all bidders. The technical scope includes the supply of quality medicines and surgical disposables suitable for hospital use, with an emphasis on timely delivery and compliance with health standards.
Interested firms must have established credentials in technical, financial, and managerial capacities. Registration with FBR and an active ATL status is essential. Vendors should also be familiar with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and have experience supplying to healthcare institutions. The Earnest Money or Performance Security required is Rs. 20,000.
The last date and time for submission of applications is 20th August 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidding documents are available free of cost on the e-procurement and PPRA websites. All bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab Procurement System (ep.punjab.gov.pk). The single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure will be applied.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their registration on the PITB e-procurement portal is complete and up to date well before the submission deadline. This will help avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure timely submission of bids.
