Tender Description

Applications are invited by the Military Engineering Services (MES) through CMES (Navy) COMLOG Karachi for prequalification of contractors and issuance of tenders for various construction and repair works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, Karachi. The tender process is conducted under the PPRA Rules 13 (1) & 28 2004. The works include the provision and construction of certain facilities at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, Karachi, repair and maintenance including minor, major, and abnormal repair works, technical and electrical/mechanical/water supply and fire & safety works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, and supply of fresh water through bowzers to miscellaneous stations at Mauripur, PN Dockyard. Items being procured: - Provision and construction of certain facility at Mauripur, PN Dockyard - Repair, maintenance, minor, major, and abnormal repair works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard - Technical, electrical, mechanical, water supply and fire & safety works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard - Supply of fresh water through bowzers to miscellaneous stations at Mauripur, PN Dockyard The scope requires contractors to provide skilled and unskilled personnel, machinery, and equipment. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council with valid renewal for the current year. Firms must be on the approved MES contractors list or other government departments with relevant experience. Contractors not on the MES approved list or suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated bid cost in the form of FDR/CDR pledged to CMES (Navy) COMLOG Karachi. This earnest money is refundable if the contractor is not prequalified or does not secure the contract. Interested contractors can contact the CMES (Navy) COMLOG office between 0800 to 1430 hours on working days for further details. Tender submissions must be received by 1130 hours on 18 September 2026 and will be opened at 1200 hours the same day. Contractors are welcome to witness the tender opening. Bidders are advised to ensure all required documents including GST registration, NTN certification, bank statements, and proof of experience are complete to avoid disqualification. Timely submission and adherence to tender instructions are critical for successful participation.
