Preventive Maintenance of Domestic OFC - Naran to Babusar Top Section 500 Mtr

The Headquarters Special Communications Organization invites qualified vendors and contractors to submit quotations for the preventive maintenance of the Domestic Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) section from Naran to Babusar Top, covering a length of 500 meters. This maintenance work is critical to ensure uninterrupted communication services in the Rawalpindi region and surrounding areas. Items being procured: - Preventive maintenance services for Domestic OFC - Naran to Babusar Top Section (500 Mtr) The scope includes inspection, testing, fault detection, and repair of the optical fiber cable to maintain optimal performance and reliability. Contractors must have relevant experience in fiber optic cable maintenance and possess the necessary technical expertise and equipment to carry out the work efficiently. Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), provide valid sales tax and professional tax certificates, and be security cleared. Blacklisted contractors will not be entertained. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 3000/- in cash must be deposited to obtain tender documents starting from 18 September 2026. Quotations must be submitted in person to the office of the Commanding Officer, 62 Composite Signal Battalion, Misrial Complex, Rawalpindi, on 5 October 2026 between 0900 hrs and 1100 hrs. The bids will be opened the same day at 1200 hrs in the presence of contractors' representatives. The selected contractor will be required to deposit a 2% Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of the total contract amount, which can be claimed from CMA FWO Rawalpindi. Taxes will be deducted as per government rules. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
