Tender Description
The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of 11 kV Termination Kit 500 MCM (Indoor & Outdoor) under Tender No. 1986/26. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed in Hyderabad, Sindh. Items being procured include:
- 11 kV Termination Kit 500 MCM (Indoor) - Quantity: 900 Nos.
- 11 kV Termination Kit 500 MCM (Outdoor) - Quantity: 900 Nos.
The kits must comply with WAPDA/PPMC/NTDC standard Specification No. P-184:86 (amended to date). Delivery is scheduled to be completed within 90 days to the Regional Stores of HESCO located in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Nawabshah. Bidders must be registered manufacturers or suppliers pre-qualified with HESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA in the relevant category and must provide evidence of at least one similar purchase order completed satisfactorily within the last five years. All bids must be submitted electronically through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 portal by 28th September 2026 at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. A bid security of PKR 500,000 is required in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft, with the original submitted physically to the Material Management Directorate, Room # 237, WAPDA Offices Complex, HESCO Headquarters, Hussainabad, Hyderabad before the bid closing time. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. Bidders should ensure compliance with all technical specifications and contractual conditions without deviation. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract price within 14 days of the Letter of Intent. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed. For participation, bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and comply with all eligibility criteria including active taxpayer status and no blacklisting. The bid opening will be conducted online on EPADS v2.0 on 28th September 2026 at 11:30 AM. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents are clear, complete, and uploaded properly on EPADS to avoid disqualification due to illegibility or incompleteness.
