Procurement of 3 Types of Empty Cylinder

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of 3 types of empty cylinders at its Taxila Cantt facility. This procurement is conducted under the rules of PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP). The items being procured are: - NIV Cylinder for DA Gas, Quantity: 42 units, Make: Shangdong/Hengsheng, Material: Hardened Steel, Size Capacity: 6.8 Cu.M at 2000 psi - NIV Cylinder for Oxygen, Quantity: 48 units, Make: Shangdong/Hengsheng, Material: Hardened Steel, Size Capacity: 9.8 Cu.M at 2000 psi - NIV Cylinder for Argon, Quantity: 60 units, Make: Shangdong/Hengsheng, Material: Hardened Steel, Size Capacity: 6.8 Cu.M at 2000 psi The cylinders must be functional and worthiness certified from POL. Delivery is expected within 2 months after signing the contract, with destination at the Tank Manufacture Factory, HIT Taxila. Bidders must submit technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes as per the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Technical bids must include a muted bid security of Rs. 2000/- postal order in favor of Director Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCM), HIT Taxila. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN, Sales Tax Registration, and compliance with DPP&I-35 regulations. Firms must not be blacklisted or suspended and must provide audit reports for the last 3 financial years, bank statements, CNIC copies, and other supporting documents as detailed in the bidding documents. Bid security is required as per the prescribed rates, with 2% for registered firms and 5% for unregistered firms, subject to ceilings. The bid submission deadline is 24 November 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila.
