Procurement of Aerial Bundled Cables 50mm Sq (3x50+1x50)

The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of Aerial Bundled Cables 50mm Sq (3x50+1x50) under Tender No. 1989/26 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned for delivery at Regional Store HESCO in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Nawabshah. Items being procured: - Aerial Bundled Cables 50mm Sq (3x50+1x50) with a quantity of 30 Km per unit, total 600,000 units. The cables must conform to WAPDA/PPMC/NTDC standard Specification No. DDS-82:2007 (amended to date). The scope includes supply, inspection, and delivery on Free Consignee Stores (FCS) basis at the specified locations. Inspection will be conducted jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and HESCO representatives. The supplier is responsible for all inspection costs and must provide inspection certificates and warranty documents. Eligibility criteria include registration with FBR and ATL, prequalification with HESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA, valid prototype approval or undertaking for fresh approval, and no blacklisting. Bidders must have at least one similar purchase order completed satisfactorily in the last five years and submit details of any litigation or arbitration. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Original bid security must be submitted physically to Room #237, WAPDA Offices Complex, HESCO H/Qs, Hussainabad, Hyderabad before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. Manual submissions are not accepted. The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Performance security of 5% of the contract price is required within 14 days of Letter of Intent issuance. Warranty period is 12 months from completion of supply. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed.
