Procurement of Chemicals for Heavy Industries Taxila

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of various chemicals required for its operations in Taxila Cantt, Punjab. This procurement is conducted under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. Items being procured: - Glycol Ethylene (1050 Liters) - Sodium Carbonate (Na2 CO3) (1720 Kg) - Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) / Caustic Soda (1386 Kg) - Chromic Acid CrO3 (Ind) (140 Kg) - Sodium Silicate (Na2SiO3) (490 Kg) - Sulphuric Acid 98% Purity (490 Liters) - Methyl Orange (C14H14N3 naO3S) (400 ML, pH 2.9~4.6) - Hydrazine (N2 H4) (100 Liters) - Tri Sodium Phosphate (Na3 PO4) (1545 Kg) - EDTA Solution (Molarity 0.05) (400 ML) - Calcium Carbide (CaC2) (240 Kg) - Sodium Di-Hydrogen Phosphate (1470 Kg) - Thinner Plastisol Primer (140 Liters) - Plastisol Coating C-7261-MIL-P-20689 (140 Liters) - Plastisol Primer C-7261-MIL-P-20689 (140 Liters) The technical scope includes supply of high-quality chemicals conforming to specified standards and technical specifications as per Annexure G. The delivery period is 3 months after contract signing, with delivery to HRF, HIT Taxila. Bidders must submit technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes, including required documents such as NTN, Sales Tax Registration, audit reports, bank statements, CNIC copies, OEM trade links, and a postal order of Rs 2000/- with the technical bid. Eligibility criteria include valid registration, non-blacklisting, and compliance with DPP&I-35 and HIT regulations. Bid security is required as per instructions, with 2% or 5% of quoted value depending on registration status. Evaluation will be based on financial soundness, past experience, performance, and technical compliance. The last date for bid submission is 19 October 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila.
