Tender Description
Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites sealed electronic bids through EPADS v2.0 for the procurement of Disc Insulator 100-KN Fog Type under National Competitive Bidding procedure for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for delivery to SEPCO Warehouse at 132KV Grid Station, Arain Road, Sukkur. Items being procured:
- Disc Insulator 100-KN Fog Type, Quantity: 11,284 Nos
The technical specifications require compliance with NTDC specifications amended to date and IEC standards. The supplier must provide valid type test reports or be prepared for testing at approved laboratories. Delivery period is 120 days or earlier from the date of purchase order issuance. Partial deliveries are allowed with partial payments. Bidders must be registered manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, or authorized dealers with at least 5 years manufacturing experience and 3 years operational experience for similar quantities. Financial soundness, including positive net worth and average annual turnover exceeding twice the bid price, is mandatory. Bid security of 2% of total bid amount excluding GST is required. Performance guarantee of 5% of contract price is to be furnished within 20 days of LOI. Inspection will be conducted by SEPCO/NTDC representatives with applicable inspection fees. Bids must be submitted online on EPADS v2.0 by 28th September 2026 at 04:00 PM and will be opened the same day at 04:30 PM. Manual bids will not be entertained. The procurement will be evaluated on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. Bidders are advised to carefully follow all bidding instructions and submit all required documents including bid security, technical data, and non-blacklisting undertakings. One practical tip: Ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 platform to avoid disqualification due to late or manual submission.
