Tender Description
The Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed tenders from authorized dealers and registered firms for the supply of various goods for the Financial Year 2026-2027. The procurement is intended for the Islamabad and Rawalpindi offices, and all interested parties must be registered with sales tax and income tax authorities, and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL).
Items being procured:
- Machinery equipment, Computer Equipment (Bid Security/Earnest Money: Rs. 500,000)
- Furniture/Fixture items of Ministry during the financial year 2026-2027 (Bid Security/Earnest Money: Rs. 300,000)
- Procurement of Vehicles Tyres, including Bulletproof tyres of security division during the financial year 2026-2027 (Bid Security/Earnest Money: Rs. 350,000)
The technical scope covers the supply of original, genuine, and brand-new items, with delivery required up to 30th June, 2027. All items must comply with the specifications and standards outlined in the tender documents. Bidders are required to submit their bids using the single stage-two envelope procedure, with separate technical and financial proposals. The bid security must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of the DDO (General), Ministry of Interior. Unsuccessful bidders will have their earnest money returned within a fortnight of the final decision.
Eligibility criteria include valid Income Tax and Sales Tax Registration Certificates, National Tax Number, and proof of ATL status. Bidders must also provide a bank account/IBAN number. All firms are required to submit their bids online via the e-Procurement Portal (EPADS) as well as in hard copy at the Section Officer (General), Ministry of Interior, R Block Pak Secretariat, Islamabad, by 28th September 2026 at 11:30 AM. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained.
A practical tip: Ensure that your bid security is prepared exactly as specified and that all supporting documents, including the price list and tax certificates, are up to date and attached to both the online and hard copy submissions to avoid disqualification.
