Procurement of Double Edge Platform for Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO)

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of the DOUBLE EDGE PLATFORM under contract reference P87022 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to be executed through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0, employing the Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Items being procured: - DOUBLE EDGE PLATFORM (Quantity: 419 units) The procurement involves supply of DOUBLE EDGE PLATFORM conforming to WAPDA/PEPCO/NTDC standard specification DDS-48:2008 (Amended to date). The delivery location is MEPCO Regional Stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan. The delivery period is within 120 days or earlier from the date of issuance of the purchase order. The price quoted shall be fixed, inclusive of all taxes, duties, 0.5% inspection charges, and GST on a Free Carrier Store (FCS) basis. Bidders must be registered with FBR, possess valid PEC category if applicable, and must not be blacklisted or debarred by WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, or NTDC. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee is mandatory. Performance security of 5% of the contract price is required upon award. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises by authorized representatives of MEPCO and Chief Engineer (M.I) PEPCO Lahore. The bid submission deadline is Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0 only. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM.
