Tender Description
The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Procurement) invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of specialized goods for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the supply of IR-Heating Elements and 02-Phase Ceramic Terminal Block Connectors required at the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd. located at Jinnah Avenue Malir Halt, Karachi. The items being procured include:
- IR-Heating Element Ceramic (Elstein FSR/2, 500 Watt, 230V, Max. Temp = 750 Celsius) Quantity: 50 Nos.
- 02-Phase Ceramic Terminal Block Connector for IR Heaters (0.5-04 sq.mm, 20-25 Amperes) Quantity: 150 Nos.
These items must conform to the technical specifications and samples available for inspection at the PSPC reception. Bidders must provide technical catalogues or brochures with their bids; failure to do so will result in rejection. The procurement will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bidders are required to register on EPADS v2.0 to participate.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with FBR and submission of bid security or bid securing declaration as per the bidding documents. The delivery schedule is 30 days from the date of contract award. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
Interested bidders should ensure compliance with all terms and conditions, including providing bid security in the prescribed form and adhering to the technical and financial requirements. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. One practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the technical specifications and ensure all required documents, including technical brochures and bid security, are submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in electrical heating elements and ceramic connectors to engage with a reputable government corporation in Karachi. Bidders should prepare their submissions with attention to detail and compliance to maximize their chances of success.
