Tender Description
The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of LPG Gas Filled in Cylinder (Each Cylinder = 11.8 Kg) to be delivered at SNGPL Project Camp, Joriyan Stop, Near Mureed Phatak, Main Chakwal Road, Mandra, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 under contract reference FCS/MDR/TE/031/26 (P106294).
Items being procured:
- LPG Gas Filled in Cylinder (Each Cylinder = 11.8 Kg), Quantity: 5723 Kg
The LPG cylinders must comply with OGRA regulations including specifications such as chemical composition (Propane 40% and Butane 60%), ethyl mercaptan content, unsaturated hydrocarbons limits, pentane limits, and safety features including pressure ratings and safety relief valves. Cylinders must be made of high-strength, low-carbon steel with corrosion protection and pass hydrostatic and burst pressure tests. Permanent stamping on cylinders is required for tare weight, water capacity, test date, serial number, and owner's brand. Bidders must quote brand name and country of origin.
Bidders must be registered with FBR and provide original bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft submitted physically before the bid submission deadline. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 only; manual submissions will not be entertained. The bid opening will be conducted on EPADS v2.0 on September 25, 2026, at 03:30 PM.
The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Delivery is required within 15 days after placement of purchase order. Payment will be made within 30 days after satisfactory delivery and submission of invoices. Late delivery charges of 0.14% per day up to 10% of the delayed part value will be applicable. Performance guarantee of 10% of contract price is required within 15 days of purchase order.
Interested bidders should ensure compliance with all technical specifications and eligibility criteria including valid Professional Tax Clearance Certificate for 2026-27. One practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the technical specifications and ensure cylinders meet all OGRA safety and quality standards to avoid disqualification during technical evaluation.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers of LPG cylinders to engage with a major gas distribution company in Punjab, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements is essential for success.
