Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Material Management department invites sealed bids for the procurement of LT CT 100/5 Amp current transformers under Tender No. 4420 (LT CT 100/5Amp) for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to support LESCO's operational needs across multiple regional stores including Shalamar, Walgon Sohail, and Pattoki in Lahore.
Items being procured:
- LT CT 100/5 Amp Current Transformers, Quantity: 5250 Nos. as per DDS-80:2007 specification (Amended to date).
The transformers must strictly comply with the NGC/PPMC standard specifications. Bidders who do not possess valid prototype approval must obtain it from the Stands & Specifications Department of PPMC Lahore before mass production. Prototype samples must be submitted within 30 days of contract signing. Delays in prototype submission will incur liquidated damages. Failure of prototype approval twice will result in contract cancellation and forfeiture of performance security.
Delivery schedule is critical and must be adhered to strictly. The total quantity is divided into lots with staggered delivery over 75 days. Early supply is acceptable. Inspection will be conducted at the manufacturer's premises by authorized representatives. All inspection and testing costs are borne by the supplier. Performance guarantees and bid securities are mandatory as per PPRA rules.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR, active taxpayers, and prequalified with LESCO/DISCO/WAPDA under the relevant category. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by September 3, 2026, 10:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline at 22 A Queens Road Lahore.
This tender follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. Bidders should ensure compliance with all terms, conditions, and technical specifications. Non-compliance or incomplete documentation may lead to disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders: Register early on EPADS v2.0 and carefully review prototype approval requirements to avoid delays that could jeopardize contract eligibility.
This procurement offers a significant opportunity for qualified manufacturers and suppliers to contribute to LESCO's infrastructure enhancement in Lahore.
