Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for the procurement of spares and expendable items required for the repair and rebuild of 2x Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) on FOR basis. This procurement is specifically for the Commercial Directorate at HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. The scope includes a comprehensive list of parts such as part kits, washers, seals, hoses, circuit breakers, bearings, clamps, gaskets, batteries, electrical leads, and various other mechanical and electrical components essential for APC maintenance and overhaul.
Bidders must ensure compliance with HIT registration and pre-qualification requirements, including valid NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates. Firms should provide audited financial reports for the last three financial years, bank statements, and a detailed list of contracts or works experience with government or semi-government organizations. A judicial certificate confirming the firm is neither defaulter nor blacklisted is mandatory. The tender documents can be collected from the Commercial Directorate, HIT Taxila Cantt, upon payment of Rs. 3000/- or downloaded from the official website.
The bid submission deadline is 16 June 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 hours in the presence of firm representatives. Earnest Money and Performance Bank Guarantee requirements are as per the bidding documents. It is advisable for bidders to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids in separate envelopes as per the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure to avoid disqualification.
