Tender Description
The Taluka Hospital Daharki, under the Medical Superintendent's office, invites bids for the procurement of specific consumables required for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is crucial for maintaining the hospital's operational efficiency and ensuring the availability of essential medical and laboratory supplies in Daharki, Sindh.
Items being procured include a comprehensive list of medical consumables and equipment such as X-Ray Films (various sizes), Developer and Fixer packets, Abbott Hbs and HCV kits, glucose and creatinine solutions, antisera, various test kits including Widal, Malaria, Typhoid, HIV, VDRL, and pregnancy kits, CBC tubes, surgical gloves of multiple sizes, syringes, surgical blades, oxygen cylinders, nebulizer machines, cardiac monitors, and many more specialized medical and laboratory consumables. The full detailed list includes over 180 specific items with quantities and manufacturers where applicable.
The technical scope covers supply and delivery of these consumables to Taluka Hospital Daharki, ensuring quality standards with authorized drug testing laboratory certificates where applicable. Bidders must comply with PEC categories, FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate relevant experience with a minimum of three years along with financial solvency and past performance certificates.
Key dates include the submission and opening of bids on 29 October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid security of 5% and performance security of 5% of the contract value required. Bids must be submitted in English and remain valid for 90 days. The procurement follows the Single Stage - One Envelope Procedure as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the mandatory compliance requirements, including submission of all required documents in proper sequence, proof of tender fee payment, and adherence to all terms and conditions. Non-compliance or incomplete bids will be rejected. The procuring agency reserves the right to vary quantities and accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the bid documents are complete, legible, and submitted in the exact order specified, as missing pages or documents can lead to disqualification. Also, attaching the original bid security instrument with the financial proposal is mandatory to avoid rejection.
This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers of medical consumables to engage with a reputable government health institution in Sindh, contributing to improved healthcare delivery in the region.
