Tender Description
The Ministry of Defence, through its Directorate General Defence Purchase located on Adamjee Road, Rawalpindi, is inviting sealed tenders for the procurement of stationery, general, and conservancy store items. This procurement is intended to supply these items on a running contract basis for one full financial year from 01 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. The scope includes a wide range of stationery and general store items required for the efficient functioning of the department.
Interested suppliers must be reputed and well-established firms registered with any Defence Organization and the Sales Tax Department, holding a valid National Tax Number. They should also have their own registered office to qualify for participation. The tender process requires submission of separate sealed bids for each category of items, which must be delivered to the CPR Section of DGDP’s office in Rawalpindi before the deadline.
Tender documents and specifications can be obtained from the DGDP office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 via bank draft in favor of CMA (DP), Rawalpindi. The deadline for obtaining these documents is 09 July 2026. Bidders must also submit an earnest money deposit of Rs. 200,000 in the form of a call deposit or bank draft along with their bids. This earnest money is refundable to unsuccessful bidders and will be retained by DGDP until the delivery and completion of the contract by successful bidders.
The tender opening will take place on 14 July 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Offers received late or without earnest money will be rejected outright. The DGDP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all required documents, including earnest money and tender fee payment proof, are complete and submitted well before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Attention to detail in the technical bid and timely submission can significantly improve chances of success in this competitive procurement.
