Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms for the procurement of stores required for the refurbishment of Tk T-59MII. This procurement is under the Supply Chain Management Directorate at HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. The tender reference is Bid No. 5081/2026-27/IT-6106/HRF(T)/FOR(A)/SCM dated 12 August 2026, with bid submission deadline on 14 September 2026 at 10:30 hours and bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day.
Items being procured include a comprehensive list of over 330 parts and components such as wire ropes, gear shafts, gaskets, clutch boosters, booster cylinders, O-rings, bogie wheel re-rubberization parts, spring washers, packing, brake components, hoses, rubber pads, seals, buffers, clamps, seats, belts, and many other specialized parts as detailed in Annexure A of the bidding documents. Quantities vary per item, ranging from single digits to thousands of units.
The technical scope covers supply of brand new, OEM-certified parts conforming to approved drawings and specifications, with delivery within 3 months after contract signing. Inspection and testing will be conducted as per acceptance criteria and ATPs. Warranty and performance guarantees are mandatory, with a warranty period of 12 months after acceptance.
Eligibility criteria require valid National Tax Number (NTN), Sales Tax Registration, and compliance with DPP&I-35 and MoDP rules. Firms must submit audited financial reports for the last three years, bank statements, CNIC copies, trade links with OEMs, and a judicial certificate confirming no blacklisting. Bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order is required, with postal order of Rs 2000/- enclosed with the technical bid.
Bids must be submitted in two sealed envelopes (technical and financial proposals) placed in one outer envelope addressed to Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Shuja Chaudhry, Assistant Director Procurement, Supply Chain Management Directorate, Gate No 05, Heavy Industries Taxila, Taxila Cantt. Late submissions will not be entertained.
