Tender Description
The P&D Directorate of Bahria University invites sealed bids on EPADS v2.0 for the procurement of a Telephone Exchange system for Bahria University Dental College and Hospital located in Karachi. This procurement is specifically for a comprehensive IP-PBX / PABX system with advanced telephony features and capacity to support a large number of analog and IP extensions.
Items being procured:
- Telephone Exchange IP-PBX / PAB System with 110 Analog Extension Ports with CLI, 40 IP Extension Licenses, 08 Analog Trunk Interfaces with CLI, and multiple advanced features including ARS, call forwarding, call pickup groups, centralized directory, and more.
- 15U Wall Mounted Equipment Rack with mounting accessories and cable management.
- 200-Pair Building Side MDF (Krone Type Connection Module) including installation, termination, labeling, and testing.
The system must support a minimum capacity of 2,500 TDM and 2,000 IP Ports, expandable up to 32,000 IP and TDM ports, with compatibility for various cards and interfaces. The equipment will be installed, tested, and commissioned with one-year manufacturer support and hardware warranty. Complete documentation and training of client staff are included.
Eligible bidders must be registered and technically sound, with no litigation or blacklisting history. Bid security of Rs. 135,877/- and a non-refundable bidding document fee of Rs. 5,000/- are required. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on October 6, 2026, with original bid security submitted physically to the specified Bahria University offices in Islamabad or Karachi. Manual bids will not be accepted.
The bidding process follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. Bidders are advised to carefully review the technical specifications and ensure compliance. One practical tip is to ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 to avoid disqualification due to late or incomplete submissions.
